Choose an area you want to understand
You may want readings from a bedroom, wardrobe, office or equipment area. Decide what you want to learn before choosing a sensor. Temperature tells you how warm the area is; humidity is moisture in the air. We choose a suitable position and follow the product’s instructions, because readings depend on where it sits.
Check readings in the mobile app
Suitable sensors can show their readings in an app, often through a smart hub. Give each area a clear name. We show you what the chosen app displays and test the connection. Set a useful alert level
Some setups can send an alert when a reading reaches a level you choose. We check whether the feature is available and test it. A room sensor does not guarantee that belongings will stay in good condition or give a particular health result. It gives information about the area where it is placed.
Use separate equipment to change conditions
A sensor cannot cool, heat or dry a room by itself. Changing conditions needs separate suitable equipment.
